Nominator's project description

Professor Wehmeier is an international authority in philosophical and mathematical logic, in the philosophy of logic and language and in formal semantics. He has also done cutting edge work in the history of analytic philosophy, especially regarding the work of Gottlob Frege. During his stay in Germany, he will work on philosophical implications of two-dimensional modal semantics and on broadly Fregean approaches to the semantics of pronouns.
